Import declaration for inward processing
To declare your imported goods for inward processing, you need to submit an import declaration. Below you can find help to fill in the declaration.
You declare according to the general rules, i.e. type of goods, commodity code, customs value, procedure codes, etc.
If you have an authorisation for a simplified declaration procedure, it will state the procedures for which this authorisation applies. If it does not apply to inward processing, you need to lodge a standard customs declaration. You can complete your authorisation for the simplified declaration procedure via the Customs Decisions System (CDS).
