Designated location

This may a customs office, but it could be any location designated by Swedish Customs. This could, for example, be an international Union airport.

A separate authorisation is not required to use a designated location. This decision is made at Swedish Customs’ discretion.

Short storage

The time of storage varies, but it should be relatively short.

Discharging the procedure

The temporary storage procedure is discharged either when the goods are released to a customs procedure or when they are re-exported.
