Presenting and storing goods – Import
Goods that are are imported to the customs territory of the Union, notification must be given at the time of arrival. Once you have presented your goods to the customs authority, the goods are considered to be in temporary storage.

Uncleared goods may then be stored in a customs warehouse. There are various types of warehouses for this purpose. Your choice of warehouse depends on your needs.

Designated locations for imports
Goods entering the EU customs territory must be transported to a customs office designated by the customs authority or to another place designated or approved by the authority.
Temporary storage
