Your personal data were submitted to Swedish Customs when you chose authentication via Foreign eID. Swedish Customs is the data controller for all processing of personal data in Swedish Customs’ operations. The personal data that are processed are your name and your identifier. These data are provided to Swedish Customs via Sweden’s Agency for Digital Government (DIGG).

Under regulation (EU) no. 910/2014, Swedish Customs has a legal obligation to enable authentication via Foreign eID. This regulation means that Swedish public e-services have to allow logging in using a foreign electronic ID wherever it is possible to log in using a corresponding Swedish electronic ID.
Swedish Customs processes your personal data during the session in question. No data are saved in Swedish Customs’ IT systems. The information is shown only to you in the waiting room and is automatically deleted when the session is closed.
